Aspen Institute, Citizenship and American Identity Program

Civics Course

The Aspen Institute's Citizenship and American Identity Program explores the question of what it means to be American, and how to promote dialogue, discourse and understanding across difference. Their "What Every American Should Know" Project is a portion of the Participate Civics summative assessment. Aspen's CAI program compiles aggregated lists of the CPS Top 10 Items, and publishes student-written blogs that speak to the importance of the CPS top 10 terms.
